Sod Installation in DeLand and Volusia County
A graded, prepped base and fresh-cut sod laid tight, so you get a full green lawn in days instead of seasons of patching.
What this job actually involves
Most failed lawns in Volusia County are not a grass problem, they are a prep problem. We kill and clear the old material, grade out the low spots that drown roots, and lay fresh-cut sod tight seam to seam so it knits together fast.

- Grading and soil prep for even drainage
- Fresh-cut St. Augustine, Bahia, Zoysia or Bermuda

FAQ
Sod Installation questions
- How soon can I walk on new sod?
- Light foot traffic is fine after about two weeks, once the roots have knitted into the soil. Keep heavy traffic off for the first month.
- What type of sod is best for my yard?
- It depends on sun, irrigation and traffic. We walk the yard with you and recommend the grass that will actually survive there, not the one with the biggest margin.
- Do you handle the old grass?
- Yes. Removal, haul off and cleanup are part of the job unless you ask us to leave the material on site.
